Cremation in University City and UTC

Beyond Cremations provides $950 direct cremation for families in University City and the UTC area (ZIP 92122), all-inclusive. We are a licensed funeral establishment (FD 2547) at 5425 Oberlin Drive, Suite 116, in Sorrento Valley, just north of UTC. We answer 24 hours a day at (844) 954-1214.

University City is home to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla at 9888 Genesee Avenue, and sits beside the UC San Diego campus where Jacobs Medical Center is located at 9300 Campus Point Drive. Because both are minutes from our office, we can coordinate a release with decedent affairs quickly and keep your family updated at every step.

Retirement communities in University City

University City has several large senior communities, including Vi at La Jolla Village and Belmont Village Senior Living La Jolla on Nobel Drive. If your loved one lives in one of them, tell the staff you have chosen Beyond Cremations and we will coordinate the transfer with them. Beyond Cremations is independent and not affiliated with these communities.

Many University City families have ties to UC San Diego or the research institutes nearby, and often have relatives in other states or countries. Our process is built for that: everything is handled by phone, email and electronic signature, and we can ship the remains anywhere in the United States by USPS for $95.
