Scatter Ashes at Sea
FREEYour loved one’s remains will be scattered at sea off the coast of San Diego County.
If mailing or delivery is chosen, the fee will be added to the base price; scattering is free of charge.
Urn Upgrade
$105 – $165If you decide to select a special urn from our collection instead of the included basic urn, the cost will depend on the urn you choose. Our urn prices range from $105 to $165.
For example, a handcrafted wooden urn might be $110, an elegant bronze urn $165, a patriotic flag-themed urn $140, or an eco-friendly biodegradable urn around $120. We will clearly show you the price of any urn you select, and this cost would be added to the total.
If you do not select an upgraded urn, there is no charge – the plastic urn is provided for free.
Death Certificates
$26 eachWe charge exactly what the county charges for death certificates with no markup: $26 per certified copy. You can choose how many copies you need (up to 15 can be ordered at once). If we order them for you, we can either send them by regular mail for free (delivery can take a few weeks) or by UPS for $19 total (usually delivered ~3 business days after we obtain them). These shipping fees for death certificates (if UPS is chosen) would be added at cost. Ordering death certificates through us is optional – you can also choose to handle this yourself with the County if you prefer.

We want you to feel confident about what you’ll pay. The $950 package price covers all basic needs. The only additional expenses would be if you choose any of the optional services or products above. We do not surprise you with any unexpected charges. Transportation within our service area, the cremation process, basic container, and our professional services are all included in $950. Taxes are included in our pricing (cremation services are generally not subject to sales tax). The state fees (like death certificates) are passed through directly without markup. Our goal is to provide you a simple, worry-free experience both emotionally and financially.
If the weight of the decedent is above 300 pounds, there is a fee of 400$ that will be added to the total.
